Saguni

Saguni is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language political satire film directed by Shankar Dayal and produced by S. R. Prabhu.

The film stars Karthi and Pranitha, with Santhanam, Prakash Raj, Kiran Rathod, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Nassar in supporting roles.

Kamalakannan aka Kamal (Karthi) comes to Chennai to save his ancestral property from being demolished. He teams up with Rajini alias Appadurai (Santhanam) for an interesting journey, while also navigating his relationship with Sridevi (Pranitha).

The film takes a satirical turn as it explores the corrupt politics of the IRP party, led by influential minister R. K. Boopathi (Prakash Raj), who is behind a plot to discredit and destroy an opposing leader, Satyamoorthy.
