Synopsis
Righta Thappa is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by R. Buvana. The film stars Ramana as Sathya, Uma as Viji, and Seetha as Sathya's mother, among other notable cast members.
The movie features music composed by Karthik Raja and cinematography handled by Mahesh Muthuswamy. It marked the debut of R. Buvana as a full-length feature filmmaker.
Righta Thappa deals with eve teasing and was based on a true incident. The film won two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards in 2004, including Best Family Film and Best Character Actor Award for Seetha.
