Ratha Kanneer is a 1954 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju and written by Tiruvarur K. Thangaraj. The film stars M. R. Radha, Sriranjani, and S. S. Rajendran, with Chandrababu, M. N. Rajam, and S. R. Janaki in supporting roles.
The story revolves around Mohanasundaram, a returned-from-abroad, westernized, rich man who shows arrogance and contempt towards anything part of Indian culture and anyone below his social standards.
Produced by Perumal Mudaliar under the banner National Pictures, the film features M. R. Radha reprising his role from the original play. The technical crew included cinematographer R. R. Chandran and editor Panju (working under the alias S. Panjabi). Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy provided the musical score, while C. S. Jayaraman composed the songs with lyrics penned by Mahakavi Bharathiyaar, Bharathidasan, Udumalai Narayana Kavi, and Ku. Sa. Krishnamurthy.
The film was released on 25 October 1954 during Diwali week.
