Rasigar Mandram is a 2007 Indian Tamil language drama film directed and written by Pugazhendhi Thangaraj.
The film stars Uma, newcomer Ganesh, and newcomer Gokul Krishna, with Mansoor Ali Khan, Babu Ganesh, Jaguar Thangam, Bose Venkat, and Madhan Bob playing supporting roles.
The movie follows the story of Rameshkanth (Mansoor Ali Khan) and Sathya (Babu Ganesh), two famous heroes of Tamil cinema, who are heads of their respective fan clubs in a village. The film also explores the lives of Kathiravan alias Kathir (Ganesh), a fan of Rameshkanth, and Pandian (Gokul Krishna), a fan of Sathya.
Bharathi (Uma) becomes the new music teacher at the village school and is surprised to see that all the young men are members of a cinema actor's fan club. When a foreign water company takes water from the village with government permission, Annachi (Jaguar Thangam) leads a demonstration in the street.
The film was released on 25 May 2007.
