Rani Samyuktha is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language historical romance film directed by D. Yoganand and written by Kannadasan.
The story revolves around Prithvirajan, who falls in love with Princess Samyuktha upon seeing her portrait. To publicly humiliate him, her father Jayachandran places a statue of Prithvirajan at the entrance to the hall where the princess's svayamvara ceremony is held.
Learning of this ruse, Prithvirajan arrives on horseback and carries off his beloved Samyuktha himself. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran as Prithviraj Chauhan and Padmini as Rani Samyuktha.
The notable supporting actors include M. N. Nambiar, Ragini, K. A. Thangavelu, M. G. Chakrapani, M. N. Rajam, M. Saroja, and S. V. Sahasranamam.
