Synopsis
Rameswaram is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by S. Selvam and produced by S. N. Raja.
The film stars Jiiva and Bhavana in lead roles, alongside Lal, Bose Venkat, and Manivannan in supporting roles.
Shooting for the film took place in September 2007, with locations shot in India and Sri Lanka.
The movie follows Vasanthi, the daughter of a man who assists refugees, as she falls for Jeevan, a Tamil refugee staying in the camp in Rameswaram. Despite Jeevan's initial reluctance, he eventually falls in love with her. However, their relationship creates problems when Vasanthi's cousin Saravanan, who wants to marry her, discovers their romance.
The film released worldwide on 30 November 2007 and received mixed reviews, failing to perform well commercially.
