Raman Parasuraman is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language film directed by M. S. Gopinath.
The story revolves around two brothers separated after their parents, antique statue smugglers, are killed. The elder brother, Parasuraman, embraces his desire for revenge and becomes an outlaw in search of the three perpetrators who fled overseas. His younger sibling, Ram, chooses a different path and becomes a doctor. Ultimately, Parasuraman succeeds in eliminating all three enemies before the brothers reunite.
The film features Sivakumar as the lead actor alongside Latha, Rathi, Sathyaraj, and Pandari Bai.
Raman Parasuraman was filmed across Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Notably, one of the antagonist roles initially intended by another actor had to be taken over by A. R. Srinivasan later in the production due to that actor's withdrawal.
The soundtrack includes songs composed by Satyam with lyrics penned by Vaali.
