Ram Lakshman

Ram Lakshman is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. Thyagarajan.

The movie stars Kamal Haasan as Ram and Sripriya, with an elephant named Lakshman played by another animal, serving as Ram's close companion.

The plot revolves around the deep bond between Ram and Lakshman, who face opposition from Meena's father. When falsely accused of murder after an employee stages his death, Ram and Lakshman must rely on each other to prove their innocence.

The film was produced by Devar Films and filmed at Ooty. The soundtrack is composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
