Raja Mukthi is a 1948 Indian Tamil-language film produced by M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar under his banner Narendra Pictures.
The story revolves around King Rajendra Varman and Queen Mrinalini of the Vyjayanti empire, their rival neighbouring king Mahendra Varman, and Kannika, the minister's daughter who is deeply in love with the king.
Directed by M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar himself, the film features a star cast including M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, V. N. Janaki, P. Bhanumathi, and M. G. Ramachandran in a supporting role.
The plot is described as a convoluted tale involving palace intrigue, suspicion, unreciprocated love, seduction, villainy, and piety, all set to excellent music.
Due to production constraints stemming from Thyagaraja Bhagavathar's previous imprisonment in Madras (now Chennai), the movie was filmed at Prabhat Studios in Poona using a leased bungalow for accommodation.
The film was released on 9 October 1948.
