
Puli Vesham is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by P. Vasu and starring R. K., Karthik, Sadha, and newcomer Divya Vishwanath.
The film is a remake of the Kannada movie Muniya (2009) and follows the story of Munian (R. K.), an innocent youngster from a remote village who becomes a notorious underworld figure known as a "dada".
Munian spends his earnings to treat a girl named Thamarai (Divya Vishwanath), who is in a coma for six months, and discovers that she is the daughter of a rich man. A unique bond develops between Munian and Thamarai.
The film was released on August 26, 2011, to negative reviews.
