Pudhu Varisu is a 1990 Indian Tamil comedy film written and directed by Rajasekhar.
The story revolves around Pandian, who discovers he does not know his father, and Parvathi, who dies during pregnancy after falling in love with Sundaram (a surveyor). Sundaram leaves the village promising to return for her but fails to do so. As a result, Pandian sets out determined to find his father and seek revenge.
The film features Pandiarajan and Rohini in its lead roles. Riaz K. Ahmed made his debut as a public relations officer (PRO) on this movie. The soundtrack was composed by Chandrabose with lyrics penned by Vaali.
Pudhu Varisu was released on 31 August 1990.
