Pudhu Padagan is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed, produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and written by him.
The lead actors are Vijayakanth and Amala in this movie. Manikkam and Devi are cousins who have been in love since childhood.
Durai is a character whose sister Valli marries Raja, while Devi has a brother-in-law named Gowri. The film's plot involves Manikkam dealing with his former boss who illegally smuggles temple idols and also wants to marry Devi.
Manikkam sends the idol smuggler to jail but later faces trouble when Arumugam causes issues for Valli and her husband Raja. In response, Manikkam travels to Raja's village to resolve their problems.
Additionally, Devi's niece Baby suffers from a serious illness requiring substantial money for treatment. The doctor proposes that if Devi marries his son, he will perform the necessary operation on Baby free of charge.
After Manikkam returns home, he discovers that Devi has married according to this arrangement.
