Pudhiya Vaanam (1988) is an Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by R. V. Udayakumar.
The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan as Rajaratnam, who joins the police force after following in his adoptive father's footsteps. He is transferred to Shanthi Nagar, where he navigates an environment controlled by his adoptive father and confronts the legacy of his biological father's death.
The film is a remake of the 1987 Hindi film Hukumat, marking Sivaji Ganesan's 275th film. The title comes from a song in the earlier Tamil film Anbe Vaa (1966).
