Synopsis
Pudhiya Padhai is a 1989 Tamil-language drama film directed and written by R. Parthiban in his directorial debut.
The film stars Parthiban as an orphan who grows up to be a ruffian driven solely by money, and features V. K. Ramasamy, Manorama, Nassar, Sridhar, Kuyili, and Sathyapriya in supporting roles.
Seetha, played by Seetha, is the victim of this character's actions, which occurs at the instruction of Annapoorani, whose malpractices Seetha had previously exposed. The film follows the character's reformation after this incident.
Pudhiya Padhai was released on April 14, 1989, and emerged a box-office success, winning two National Film Awards and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
