Prabhavathi is a 1944 Indian Tamil-language Hindu mythological film directed by T. R. Raghunath and produced by Lena Chettiar under the banner Krishna Pictures.
The story revolves around Lord Krishnan, his son Pradyumnan, and the sage Naradar's mischievous activities. A central plot point involves Pradyumnan being cursed to become a woman and later having this curse lifted through Krishnan's intervention. The film also details the reunion of Pradyumnan with his love interest Mayavathi.
