Synopsis
Porutham is a 1985 Telugu-language romantic comedy film produced by Cherukuri Ramoji Rao and directed by Jandhyala.
The movie stars Naresh and Poornima in the lead roles, with the story revolving around Swarna (Poornima), who writes a blind love letter to Ananda Rao (Naresh) as part of a bet with her friends. The film was remade in Tamil as Porutham with Naresh and Poornima reprising their roles.
The story follows Swarna's attempt to prove that a boy can be easily wooed by a girl, but things take an unexpected turn when she forgets to include her own address on the letter. The film won a Filmfare Award South and a Nandi Award, solidifying its place as a commercial hit during that period.
