Poraali

Poraali is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by P. Samuthirakani and produced by M. Sasikumar.

The film stars Sasikumar, Allari Naresh, Swathi Reddy, Nivetha Thomas, Vasundhara Kashyap, Soori, and Ganja Karuppu in key roles.

The story follows Ilangkumaran "Kumaran" and Nallavan as they escape from a mental asylum on a rainy night and settle down in Chennai. They find jobs at an Indian Oil petrol bunk and soon organize a service.

Kumaran meets his neighbour Bharathi, who initially dislikes him but falls for his kind-hearted nature. The film explores themes of love, friendship, and the struggles of Kumaran's past, which is revealed in the second half of the movie.

Poraali was released on 1 December 2011 and became a commercial success.
