Poovukkul Boogambam is a 1988 Indian Tamil-language action war film written, produced and directed by Thiagarajan in his directorial debut.
The lead roles are played by Thiagarajan himself alongside Parvathy. Notable supporting performances include B. Saroja Devi and Charan Raj.
Thiagarajan drew inspiration for the script from a real-life military officer named Sundarji. The film was shot at an army camp near Faizabad, as well as military centres near New Delhi, Chennai, Agra, and Srinagar, with permission from the Indian Army.
The soundtrack features music composed by S. P. Venkatesh, credited under the name Sangeetharajan.
The film was released on 13 April 1988.
