Synopsis
Pondatti Rajyam is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar.
The lead actors are Saravanan, Ranjitha, and Chithra, with supporting appearances by Ravikumar himself and Raja Ravindra.
The film was initially titled Malligai Mullai before release, featuring a soundtrack composed by Deva, with lyrics penned by Kalidasan. Notably, the song "Raagam Ondru" was originally created for an unreleased film titled Adhikaalai Subavelai.
Critically received upon its release, Malini Mannath of The Indian Express praised Ravikumar's smooth direction and imaginative handling of situations, while Supraja Sridharan from Kalki commended the cast's performances but suggested that some dialogues could have been avoided due to their potential for double meaning.
