Synopsis
Podaa Podi is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language musical romantic comedy film directed by debutant Vignesh Shivan.
The film stars Silambarasan and Varalakshmi in the lead roles, with Varu Sarath Kumar playing a supporting role. The story revolves around Arjun, an animation artist living in London with his uncle, who meets Nisha, an aspiring dancer, in a pub. They agree to marry despite their differences, but Nisha's passion for salsa dancing creates tension in their relationship.
The score and soundtrack were composed by Dharan Kumar, while cinematography and editing were handled by Duncan Telford and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively. The film was released on November 13, 2012, as a Diwali release and received mixed reviews from critics.
