Pizhaikkum Vazhi is an Indian Tamil language comedy film released in 1949 with T. S. Durairaj and T. A. Jayalakshmi in the lead roles.
The hero, played by T. S. Durairaj, is an idler who thinks it is easy to earn a living by cheating innocent people. He becomes a fake disciple of a fake 'swami' (M. R. Swaminathan) and makes cheating his formula for living.
This is the first film produced by comedian actor T. S. Durairaj, with music composed by G. Aswathaama and lyrics written by T. K. Sundara Vaathiyar. The soundtrack features singers T. S. Durairaj, M. R. Swaminathan, and Kali N. Rathnam, as well as playback singers D. K. Pattammal and A. P. Komala.
