Pistha is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by K. S. Ravikumar and produced by Pyramid Natarajan.
The film stars Karthik and Nagma in the lead roles and was released on 9 May 1997, becoming a major success.
Manigandan, a server at a hotel who is a devotee of Ayyappan, is offered the general manager job at a factory in Ooty by a businessman named Dharmaraj. Dharmaraj introduces Manigandan to his employees, who do not work but play games and watch TV.
Manigandan must navigate this new environment and manage the idle employees. The film was remade in Kannada as Rusthum (2001).
