Perazhagan is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Sasi Shanker and produced by AVM Productions.
The film stars Suriya and Jyothika in dual roles, with Vivek, Manorama, Bobby, Thalaivaasal Vijay, and Devan playing supporting roles. The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while the cinematography was handled by R. Rathnavelu and editing by Anthony.
The story revolves around two lookalikes: Kartik, a violent college student who loves his classmate Priya, and Chinna alias Prem Kumar, a kind-hearted village youth with a hunchback. Chinna's life takes an unexpected turn when he meets blind performer Shenbaga (also played by Jyothika), leading to complications in the other romance that spills over into his own love life.
The film was released on 7 May 2004 and received critical acclaim, with Suriya winning the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil and Jyothika winning the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
