Synopsis
Pathinaaru is a 2011 Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy.
The film stars Shiva and Madhu Shalini as college students who fall in love with each other, but are opposed by Indhu's father Gopalakrishnan (Abhishek) and mother (Amritha).
After being launched in October 2008 under the title "16", the film was shot for over a year before completion. The background score and soundtrack were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The film was released on January 28, 2011, under Kalaipuli S. Thanu's V. Creations banner, but was financially unsuccessful and disappeared from the box office.
