Pasiyin Kodumai" (1952) is a drama film produced by K&K Combines and directed by Mohan Rao.
The movie stars Prem Nazir in his debut role, alongside Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair, Kumari Thankam, Pankajavalli, Nanukuttan, Mathappan, and S. P. Pillai, as well as Baby Girija.
Despite a low budget, "Pasiyin Kodumai" became the highest-grossing film of 1952 in its region, launching Prem Nazir's career.
The original Malayalam version ran for fifty days across seven release centers and was later remade into the Tamil film "Pasiyin Kodumai," released on November 28, 1952.
