Pasi (1979) is an Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Durai.
The film stars Shoba, Vijayan, and Delhi Ganesh in lead roles.
The plot revolves around Muniyandi, a cycle-rickshaw puller who supports his large family of seven children along with his wife Valliamma. Despite being their sole breadwinner, Muniyandi spends most of his meager earnings on liquor, forcing his financially struggling wife to fend for the family with help from her friend Rakkamma.
The story also follows one of their sons, educated Krishna, who elopes with a girl, and their daughter Kuppamma, along with her friend Chellamma, who contribute small amounts by picking up rags.
