Synopsis
Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language crime action film directed by Suresh Krissna.
The film stars Dhanush, Meera Jasmine, and Archana, and serves as a remake of the 2005 Kannada film Jogi.
Azhagu Sundaram, a village bumpkin from Tirunelveli, comes to Chennai to earn money for his mother's gold bangles. He becomes entangled in the city's underworld and is unable to return home. Meanwhile, Meenakshi searches for her son in Chennai, where she meets Shwetha, a journalism student who promises to help her find him.
The film was released on 27 April 2007 and received mixed reviews, failing to perform well at the box office.
