Panneer Pushpangal

Panneer Pushpangal (1981) is an Indian Tamil-language teen romance film marking the directorial debut of Santhana Bharathi and P. Vasu.

The plot centers on a love story between Aravind Prabhu and Uma, with their teacher Prem playing a significant supporting role in their relationship.

Starring Pratap as Prem, Vennira Aadai Moorthy as the hostel warden, Suresh Kumar as Aravind Prabhu, and Shanthi Krishna as Uma, among others. The film was developed from an impromptu story narration by K. Somasundareswaran to Gangai Amaran, leading Amaran to entrust the direction to P. Vasu and Santhana Bharathi.

The film was released on 3 July 1981 and had a Telugu dubbed version titled Madhura Geetham released in March 1982.
