Pandiyan is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by S. P. Muthuraman and produced under his production banner Visaalam Productions.
The film stars Rajinikanth in the titular role as Pandian, along with Khushbu and Janagaraj. Prabhakar reprised his villainous role from the 1991 Kannada film Bombay Dada.
The plot revolves around Pandian, who seeks revenge for the death of his brother-in-law. He infiltrates the gang responsible and aims to capture them. During his investigation, the antagonist's gang discovers that Pandian is actually an undercover police officer. Despite this revelation, Pandian manages to apprehend the culprit.
The film was released on 25 October 1992 during Diwali and received negative reviews from critics. It was a commercial failure at the box office.
