Panam Paduthum Padu is a 1954 Indian screwball comedy film directed by Y.R. Swamy and produced by Moola Narayana Swamy under the Rohini Pictures banner.
The film stars N.T. Rama Rao, Sowcar Janaki, and Jamuna, with music composed by T.A. Kalyanam.
It was simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil languages and is based on the George Barr McCutcheon novel Brewster's Millions (1902).
The story follows Syam, a painter, and his friend Rama Rao as they evade creditors due to their financial woes. When Syam receives a portrait commission from Saroja, daughter of the wealthy Rao Saheb Hemachalapati, he falls in love with her.
