Palayathu Amman is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language devotional film directed by Rama Narayanan.
The film stars Meena as the lead role of goddess Palayathu Amman, alongside Ramki, Divya Unni, Charan Raj, and Vivek in supporting roles.
The story revolves around a child who is destined to kill an evil Satan. The child grows up under the care of Shekar and Savithri, but faces numerous harms from the Satan. Goddess Palayathu Amman saves the child every time, while Savithri mistakenly believes Palayathu Amman wants to take away her child.
The film culminates with the child being kidnapped and about to be killed, only for Palayathu Amman to intervene and kill the Satan, returning the child to their parents.
