Palaivana Paravaigal (Desert Birds) is a 1990 Tamil crime film directed by Senthilnathan.
The story revolves around Mamu and Machi, two orphaned criminals who receive the death penalty after committing offences. Their cellmate, Raja, an innocent youth in love with Kaveri, becomes their target for rescue.
