Pakka Thirudan is a 1937 Indian Tamil-language film directed by P. V. Rao and produced by Shanmughananda Talkies.
The film stars T. K. Shanmugham, T. S. Jaya, T. K. Muthusami, B. Saradambal, T. K. Bhagavathi, K. Shanthadevi and S. V. Sahasranamam in key roles.
The movie is based on the two-volume novel of the same name, alternatively titled Pakka Thirudan by Ayyangar.
Balamani, a wealthy woman, is due to be married when she and her fiancé are abducted after a robbery at her palace. She finds herself in a dark cave with no memory of what happened, leading to a series of events that result in her arrest and defense by barrister Eardley Norton.
