Pagadai Panirendu is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language martial arts film directed by Dhamodharan N.
The film stars Kamal Haasan, Sripriya, and Y. G. Mahendran, with Kanchana playing a guest role. Major Sundarrajan plays Usha's father.
The story follows Anand, a journalist and martial arts expert, who falls in love with Usha. When underworld kingpin Dais learns of a microfilm exposing his crimes, he relentlessly pursues Anand to retrieve it.
Renuka, a member of Dais's gang, attempts to befriend Anand but fails. Meanwhile, Usha becomes a target of Dais's gang and is threatened in their quest for the microfilm. Anand's friend Vishnu is also ensnared by the gang as part of their efforts.
As the story unfolds, Anand must confront his own martial arts master in a twist that adds to the tension.
The film was released on 14 November 1982.
