Synopsis
Oor Mariyadhai is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar.
The film stars Sarathkumar, Sasikala, Napoleon and Anand, and revolves around Rathnavelu, who loves his niece Rasathi, but she falls in love with Kannan, the son of Veerapandi, a womaniser despised by the village community.
When Rasathi's father Chinna Raja wins a prestigious price for the village, her mother and uncle force her to marry Rathnavelu against her wishes. This leads Kannan to commit suicide upon learning of the marriage, and his brother swears revenge on Rathnavelu.
The film was produced by R. B. Choudary and released on 1 May 1992.
