
Once More is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Vijay, Simran, and Saroja Devi, with Manivannan, Charle, S. S. Chandran, and Anju Aravind playing supporting roles.
It incorporates footage from Iruvar Ullam (1963) as flashback scenes of Ganesan and Saroja.
The film tells the story of Vijay, a young businessman who invites his father to come to India to sign documents after his company suffers a big loss due to his mismanagement. When his father dies in a plane crash, Vijay's maternal uncle comes up with the idea of having another elderly person act as his father for a while until the documents are signed.
Vijay develops a good working relationship with Selvam, an elderly man who agrees to act as his father. As they work together, Vijay strives to resolve the differences between Selvam and his wife Shantha, whom he reunites with Kavitha, Vijay's love interest.
The film was released on 4 July 1997 and became a commercial success. It was remade in Telugu as Daddy Daddy (1998).
