Onbadhu Roobai Nottu is a 2007 Tamil-language drama film directed by Thangar Bachan, based on his own novel of the same name.
The film tells the tragic life story of Madhava Padayachi, played by Sathyaraj, and his family. A seventy-year-old man who was once a rich farmer in his village, where he is respected and loved by all, narrates his exile life to Murugan, the 23-year-old son of his old friend.
Madhava shares stories about his loving wife Velayi and their three sons. The film features Archana, Nassar, and Rohini in supporting roles.
The movie was released on 30 November 2007 to high critical acclaim.
