Nyaya Tharasu is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Rajeshwar in his directorial debut.
The movie stars Nizhalgal Ravi and Radha in the lead roles, with Bharathi, a Naxalite activist on parole after being charged with murder, as the main character.
The plot revolves around Bharathi's return home during her two-week parole period to find her mother dying peacefully, thinking she is free. Her family members are overjoyed at her return, but their happiness is complicated by her younger brother Bose, who is unemployed and involved in drug-related activities.
The film is a remake of the Malayalam movie Panchagni, and it explores Bharathi's commitment to social activism above everything else, including her love for an adoring man.
