Nizhalgal

Nizhalgal is a 1980 Tamil action-drama film directed by Bharathiraja and produced by Balachander Films International.

The movie stars Ravichandran Samanna, known professionally as Nizhalgal Ravi, in his debut role, alongside S. Rajasekar, Raadhu, Chandrasekhar, and Suvitha.

The film features music composed by Ilaiyaraja with lyrics written by Vaiko.

The story revolves around three young friends who are unemployed and struggling to make ends meet, refusing to heed their parents' advice to take up menial jobs. Despite facing challenges in society, they pursue their dreams with determination.

Nizhalgal was released on 6 November 1980 and received critical acclaim, winning two awards at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards in 1981.
