Synopsis
Ninaivellam Nithya is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by C. V. Sridhar.
The story revolves around Chandru, a young man who meets the local girl Nithya, with whom he falls in love despite initial conflicts. When their relationship becomes known to Nithya's family, the village opposes them, leading to a series of challenges for the couple.
Starring Karthik as Chandru and Gigi as Nithya, the film also features Nizhalgal Ravi as Thyagu, a friend who temporarily takes in the couple. The movie follows their journey as they try to overcome opposition from their families and society.
Directed by C. V. Sridhar, the film was released on June 18, 1982, marking Gigi's acting debut in her only role.
