Gauri, Sangeetha's sister, elopes with Siva's friend after hearing that Perumal does not want to accept the marriage, leading to the break-up of Siluvai and Sangeetha's love affair. However, Siva gives a great speech to the villagers, ultimately uniting Siluvai and Sangeetha.
