Neerum Neruppum is a 1971 Indian Tamil swashbuckler film directed by P. Neelakantan.
The movie stars M. G. Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa, with supporting roles played by R. S. Manohar and Thengai Srinivasan.
The plot revolves around twin princes, Manivannan and Karikalan, who seek revenge against King Marthandan for the death of their father. Separated as children, one is raised by Arunakiri to be educated while the other is brought up by Marudhu as a fighter. Despite being apart, they develop plans together to bring down the tyrant king.
The storyline is based on the 1844 French novella The Corsican Brothers by Alexandre Dumas.
Neerum Neruppum was released on 18 October 1971 and was remade in Hindi as Gora Aur Kala.
