Needhikku Thalaivanangu (1976) is a Tamil-language film directed by P. Neelakantan and starring M. G. Ramachandran alongside Latha.
The story revolves around Vijay, who flees his home after accidentally causing one man's death and blinding another due to his passion for racing. He begins working to improve the life of Nirmala, a girl he rescues from criminals, unaware that she is Gopal's sister and his mother has already found Gopal to take the blame in exchange for money.
The film was released on March 18, 1976, and became a box office success. It is a remake of the Telugu movie "Neramu Siksha" (1973).
