Nanbargal is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Shoba Chandrasekhar in her directorial debut and produced by her son Vijay.
The film stars Neeraj and Mamta Kulkarni, with supporting roles played by Vivek, Dinesh, G. M. Sundar, and Shily Kapoor.
The plot revolves around five friends: Vijay, Gopi, Salim, Beeda, and Bheema. Vijay falls in love with Priya, a wealthy girl who initially ridicules him. Despite initial conflict, they develop feelings for each other after an intervention by Vijay when his friends attempt to teach her a lesson.
Priya's influential father opposes their relationship. The film was well-received at the box office and later remade in Hindi as Mera Dil Tere Liye.
