Nallavan Vazhvan is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by P. Neelakantan and produced by himself.
The film stars M. G. Ramachandran in his 50th film, alongside Rajasulochana.
The plot follows Muthu, an innocent convict sentenced to death for murder, who escapes prison and must clear his name by identifying the real culprit, Nallasivam, a prominent local figure.
Disguised as a shaman during his escape, Muthu guides the investigation and discovers that women are central to uncovering the truth against him.
The screenplay was written by C. N. Annadurai based on a story by Na. Pandurangan, with cinematography handled by G. Durai.
The film was released on August 31, 1961, and had an 80-day theatrical run before underperforming at the box office.
