Nalla Neram is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language film directed by M. A. Thirumugam and produced by Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar.
The film stars M. G. Ramachandran and K. R. Vijaya, and is a remake of the 1971 Hindi film Haathi Mere Saathi.
The story revolves around Raju "Raju" Kumar, who owns elephants and earns a livelihood by making them perform tricks. He falls in love with Vijaya and they get married. However, a problem arises when Vijaya develops an aversion to elephants due to a personal tragedy in her life, feeling that Raju spends too much time with his elephant friends.
The film was released on 10 March 1972 and emerged as a major success, running for more than 100 days in theatres.
