
Nala Damayanthi is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Mouli and written and produced by Kamal Haasan.
The film stars R. Madhavan in the lead role, with Geetu Mohandas and Shrutika playing supporting roles.
Ramji Narayanaswami Iyer, a naive Tamil Brahmin cook, dreams of marrying off his sister Bhagyam to a good family. He is sent to Melbourne, Australia as a cook for a multimillionaire Australian-based Indian family in exchange for compensation for the dowry he owes.
After the millionaire's death, Ramji must find a way to stay and earn a living, leading him to consider an unconventional solution: marrying a free-spirited biker named Damayanthi for a price.
The film was released on 12 June 2003 and received positive reviews. Madhavan later remade the story in Hindi-language as Ramji Londonwaley in 2005.
