Synopsis
Nadigai is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by G. Babuganesh and starring himself and Tejashree in the lead roles.
The film tells the story of Albert, who sets out to make a film on dancer Tejashree, and they fall in love. The movie also explores the dark side of the cinema industry, including the alleged rape and murder of Tejashree's sister Chandra and Mumtaj.
Production began in early 2007 with Vadivelu initially set to be part of the film. The movie was shot in various locations, including Chennai, Coimbatore, Pondicherry, and Sri Lanka, marking the comeback of actress Kanaka after a hiatus.
The film features music composed by Babu Ganesh and stars Tejashree alongside G. Babuganesh.
