Naangal

Naangal is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Hassan.

The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan as Police Officer Keerthi, who investigates a double murder case. He faces opposition from Prabhu's character, Police Officer Naveen Kumar, who also wants the promotion associated with solving the crime.

Keerthi hires Dipika Chikhlia's lawyer friend Chaturvedi, known for never losing a case. The plot involves suspicion falling on Mona (played by Dipika Chikhlia), a doctor caring for Chaturvedi after his heart attack, and later on Rajasekhar (the hospital administrator) who is killed.

According to the investigation, the murder weapon bears a fingerprint suggesting Mona's involvement. Keerthi and Chaturvedi intervene when they believe she needs their help.

The film was released on 13 March 1992 and stars Sivaji Ganesan, Prabhu, and Dipika Chikhlia.
