Synopsis
Naan is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film written and directed by Jeeva Shankar in his directorial debut.
The film stars Vijay Antony as Karthik, a psychopathic killer, alongside Siddharth Venugopal and Rupa Manjari in supporting roles. Composer Vijay Antony also produced the film and worked as the music director.
The movie follows Karthik as he assumes a new identity after an accident and enrolls in medical college. The plot is loosely based on the 1999 American film The Talented Mr. Ripley.
The filming of Naan began in October 2011, and the film was released on 15 August 2012. A sequel titled Salim, an action thriller, was released in 2014.
